Does Recycle Bridge offer electronics recycling in Toronto?
Yes. Recycle Bridge provides electronics pickup and recycling for businesses and residential customers across Toronto and the GTA, including Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga. We collect computers, servers, monitors, laptops, and other accepted electronics, with a focus on responsible recycling, reuse, and refurbishment. An official pickup receipt is provided for collected materials.
How much does e-waste pickup cost?
E-waste pickup has a minimum charge of $75 CAD, which covers pickups up to 100 lb. For pickups over 100 lb, pricing is $0.75 CAD per lb based on the total collected weight. For example: up to 100 lb = $75 CAD, 150 lb = $112.50 CAD, 200 lb = $150 CAD, 350 lb = $262.50 CAD, and 500 lb = $375 CAD.
What areas does Recycle Bridge serve?
We serve businesses across the entire GTA, including Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga, with no distance restrictions.
What items can I recycle with Recycle Bridge?
We accept laptops, tablets, phones, monitors, cables, and general office electronics for businesses across the GTA. Pricing has a $75 CAD minimum charge for pickups up to 100 lb; for pickups over 100 lb, the rate is $0.75 CAD per lb based on the total collected weight.
Does Recycle Bridge offer hard drive destruction in Toronto?
Yes. We perform on-site hard drive destruction using mechanical crushing, plus certified data wiping for hard drives and SSDs on request. Destruction happens at your location, so sensitive data never leaves your premises intact.
How much does hard drive destruction cost?
Our on-site service starts with a $250 CAD service call and certification fee, plus $40 CAD per hard drive crushed on-site. For example, 10 drives = $250 + (10 × $40) = $650 CAD total. Contact us for volume pricing on orders of 50+ drives.
Will I get proof that my data was destroyed?
Yes. An official Certificate of Destruction is included with every hard drive destruction or data wiping service.
Is Recycle Bridge a registered recycler?
Yes. Recycle Bridge is registered with Ontario’s Resource Productivity & Recovery Authority (RPRA), the provincial body overseeing electronics recycling and end-of-life obligations in Ontario.
What happens to my old electronics after pickup?
We prioritize refurbishing and reusing devices whenever possible instead of shredding them immediately. Only equipment that cannot be reused is responsibly recycled.
Do you serve residential customers, or only businesses?
Yes. Our primary focus is commercial/B2B electronics pickup and recycling, but residential customers and customers with smaller quantities can also request pickup. A minimum pickup charge of $75 CAD applies to pickups up to 100 lb. For pickups over 100 lb, the rate is $0.75 CAD per lb based on the total collected weight.
