These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Recycle Bridge’s e-waste pickup and data destruction services (“Services”) in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. By booking or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

• Electronics Pickup & Recycling, available to commercial and residential customers, for small and mid-size loads. $65 CAD pickup charge covers the first 150 lb; additional weight over 150 lb is $0.40 CAD per lb.
• Item limits: we do not accept floor-standing copiers, large printers, or single items over 75 lb.
• On-Site Data Destruction: $150 CAD on-site visit during business hours, plus $15 CAD per drive crushed at your location. A Certificate of Destruction is included.
• Off-Site Data Destruction: $65 CAD pickup charge (covers the first 150 lb; $0.40 CAD per lb after that), plus $15 CAD per drive, destroyed after secure pickup. A Certificate of Destruction is included.
• Volume: 20 or more drives in one visit are $10 CAD per drive.
• Combined visits: one visit charge applies per visit, and an on-site visit also covers the first 150 lb of e-waste; each service is billed at its unit rate.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays: available by request; evenings and weekends add 50% and statutory holidays add 100% to the visit or pickup charge; per-drive and per-lb rates stay the same. After-hours rates apply to loads that fit in one vehicle trip; larger loads are quoted separately. The e-waste per-lb rate stays the same.
• Service area: the prices above apply within the GTA. Outside the GTA, pricing is quoted per job.
• Access: service requires ground-floor or elevator access and parking near the pickup point.

All prices are in CAD; HST applicable. Prices are those displayed in our online booking system at the time you book and are subject to change for future bookings.

2. Booking & Payment

Appointments are scheduled through our online booking system or by phone/email. Payment for paid services (such as the on-site service call fee) is collected through our secure third-party payment processor at the time of booking or service. We do not store your full payment card details.

3. Acceptable Items

We accept standard IT and office electronics such as computers, laptops, servers, monitors, and peripherals. We may decline items containing hazardous materials (e.g., certain batteries or components) that require specialized handling, unless prior arrangements have been made.

4. Data Destruction & Certificates

Where requested, we physically destroy hard drives and SSDs by crushing and shredding, either at your location or after secure pickup. Data wiping is available on request and quoted separately. A Certificate of Destruction is issued for every data destruction service. It is your responsibility to disclose any data-bearing devices at the time of pickup; we are not liable for data on devices not identified to us as containing sensitive information.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may reschedule or cancel an appointment by contacting us at (437) 344-5503 or info@recyclebridge.ca, or through the booking portal. We appreciate as much notice as possible.

6. Liability

We perform pickup, recycling, and data destruction services with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the fee paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to devices or for items left inside equipment (e.g., storage media, accessories) that were not disclosed prior to pickup.

7. Registration & Compliance

Recycle Bridge is registered with Ontario’s Resource Productivity & Recovery Authority (RPRA) and handles electronics in accordance with applicable Ontario recycling regulations.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
